I am a technical project manager and Scrum Master. These days, most of my time is spent in Jira tickets, communicating user stories, features, and requirements. However, I constantly draw from my experience as a visual basic application developer, a financial manager, and data analyst to help my team build great products.

Interactive Power BI Dashboards
Power BI: Vermont State Property Valuation Map
Most of my Power BI dashboards I can't show you, but here's one that turned out to be super useful to the Property Assessment Team at the State of Vermont Department of Taxes.
Spreadsheet Applications and Automation
I produced and edited this video back in 2016 when I had some private clients (doing business as "Comuna Management Systems") and it's had more than 66,000 views. These days when I need to automate processes I turn to Typescript in Excel or the Power Automate platform.
Data Modeling & Analysis
CFPB Student Loan Support Toolkit
CFPB, one of our clients, asked me to build a model that would help consumers plan for supporting their children's college tuition. This was published publicly on the CFPB website.
Vermont Renter Rebate Reform Proposal Cost Model
Vermont legislators asked me to build a tool that they could use to show their constituents the impacts of a proposed reform to the state's renter rebate. This tool was a big hit because it's intuitive to see the difference between the old plan and the new proposed one. Legislators were excited to share this with their constituents.

Press Coverage - Vermont Property Tax Assessment Calculator
At the State of Vermont Office of Policy Outreach and Legislative Affairs, I developed an Excel-based tool that was used in town meetings across the state to estimate household property taxes. The tool was covered by local news outlets - see a story and video profiling the tool here.
Low-Code Application Development
One of my go-to tools for simple low-code applications is called Knack. Knack is an industry leader in low-code cloud-based database platforms (competing with other platforms like Caspio, Zoho, Pega Systems, and Appian). Knack licenses are cheap, and applications can be built quickly. The applications I've built are confidential, but I include a gif of a sample below for reference - showing the database schema and live application.
